Loving the Sliding Void books bigtime.

I absolutely love your Sliding Void series of science fiction novels; can't get through them fast enough.  I'm currently reading Transference Station, the second, I think in the series. One of the best scifi novels I've read for a long time - really engaging characters and situations. The books put me in mind of Iain M Banks if he were writing episodes of Firefly.

I could ask you where you get your amazing ideas from, but I've been told this is a crass thing to ask an author (you must hear it all the time).

Instead, I'd ask how many novels are you planning in the series?

Jan

PS - how many countries are the books available in? Any foreign translations?

Great to hear you're enjoying the novels, Janet. I would say between four to five novels to get everything that is swimming in my mind down on paper (or e-ink, as the case may be).

The novels haven't been translated yet, but are available across all the various Amazons (Italy, Spain, Germany etc), in their English flavours.

The main links for the series are the UK and USA...

Sliding Void (book 1)...

UK = http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sliding-Void-science-fiction-ebook/dp/B005V2H54G/ref=as_li_tf_cw?&linkCode=waf&tag=sciencefictioncr

USA = http://www.amazon.com/Sliding-Void-science-fiction-ebook/dp/B005V2H54G/ref=as_li_wdgt_fl_ex?&linkCode=waf&tag=hologratalesthem

Transference Station (book 2)...

UK = http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transference-Station-Book-Sliding-ebook/dp/B006H6Y6EW/ref=as_li_tf_cw?&linkCode=waf&tag=sciencefictioncr

USA = http://www.amazon.com/Transference-Station-Book-Sliding-ebook/dp/B006H6Y6EW/ref=as_li_wdgt_fl_ex?&linkCode=waf&tag=hologratalesthem

Book 3 will be called 'Red Sun Bleeding' and I'm starting that soon, prob. after Christmas, all things being equal in my home life and day job!

All the season's best.

Well, if you're not living on The Edge, you're taking up too much space!

One tip, though, Jan, I have an e-mail newsletter just for my book announcements now - sign up at http://www.sfcrowsnest.com/shnewsletter.php - I always try to remember to send out an announcement as each new book slides down the launch rail.

Just wanted to post in too and say thanks for an amazing series of science fiction novels.   :o

I was never that warm to fantasy fiction in general, so I'm glad to see you've "traded up" to this genre.

I hope you write a lot more of them just four or five! When you stop, you're going to leave me as aimless as when Farscape and Firefy were pulled off the television!!!!

Just to add my vote as I have read Sliding Void and Transference Station and I'm eagerly waiting for the next one! Excellent cast of characters and an interesting story.

Bring it on!
