Iron Man 2
« on: June 20, 2010, 04:24:15 AM »
Do people think that the second Iron Man movie was better, the same or worse than the first one?

Most the critics think it sucks, but I quite liked it, probably more than the first Iron man movie too.

But then I'm a sucker for SHIELD...

I enjoyed it too, though I think not quite as much as the first one. I was pleasantly surprised with Don Cheadle's Rhodey (I was disappointed when I heard Terence Howard had been replaced as I thought Cheadle would be too over the top) and liked having more SHIELD involvement (I love the understated Agent Coulson). I do think that it feels a bit contrived for the setting up of the whole Avengers series of films that I believe are on their way - in particular the post-credits segment was really nothing to do with the Iron Man film. Still, all in all I enjoyed it and will probably watch it again once it's out on dvd.

I agree with VinxLady, I enjoyed it a lot more than the critics suggested and will be getting this one on BlueRay when it comes out.

It's a hundred times better than the last Spiderman movie!
