Hello Stephen. I was thinking, will you ever write any other genres other than fantasy and science fiction?

Well, Sally, I think there might be a crime/thriller novel inside me, as well as some full-blooded YA fiction lurking somewhere.

If I was to do a thriller, I suspect it would end up more like a Clive Cussler novel than a country house murder mystery.

I should point out there's probably a few science fiction space operas rattling inside my noggin - I know you might well lump this in under business as normal, but to the book trade, fantasy and science fiction are counted very much as separate beasts, even if they do cohabit on the same shelves in Waterstone's!
